Moldovan PM meets business people from Soroca, Drochia, Floresti districts

Chisinau, 13 June /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today had a meeting with business people from the northern districts of Soroca, Drochia and Floresti. The discussions with the entrepreneurs took place at the Soroca-based Business Incubator and regarded subjects on the measures undertaken by the authorities to help the entrepreneurs, the programmes available for them, access to financing and the main obstacles faced in their work, the government’s communication department reported.   

The prime minister stressed that the European integration process would come up with concrete benefits for the business environment and it is necessary to enhance the products’ competitiveness, in order to turn to account the European market.  

In the context, the PM suggested that the entrepreneurs benefit from the 373 governmental programme on investments’ stimulation, as well as other governmental programmes, such as the PARE 1+2, the programme, Start for Youth: a sustainable business at home, the Women in Business programme, the Instrument of Digitalization of the Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises, as well as the programme on the promotion of economic agents at fairs and exhibitions.   

A special place on the economic map of the Soroca district is occupied by rural businesses from the tourism industry. The prime minister noted that the development of this type of business was favoured by the multitude of tourist objects from the region, the Chisinau-Soroca highway, as well as the inclusion of the Soroca district in cross-border tourist routes.
