National Army sappers destroyed 14 explosive objects, including anti-tank mine in June

Chisinau, July 1 /MOLDPRES/- Fourteen explosive objects were found and destroyed last month by National Army sappers in Chisinau, Balti, Anenii Noi, Cimislia, Cahul, Rascani, Lipcani and Hincesti.

According to the senior officer of the Engineering Service, Ivan Cornegruța, one of the most dangerous demining missions was in Balti municipality, where sappers of Stefan cel Mare Motorized Infantry Brigade identified a TM-46 anti-tank mine. The dangerous object was discovered during road repair works.

MA data shows that since the beginning of the year, 71 de-mining missions have been carried out, as a result of which 90 explosive objects have been destroyed.
