President of Czech Republic's Senate to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 14 May /MOLDPRES/ - President of the Czech Republic’s Senate Miloš Vystrčil will pay a visit to Moldova on 15-16 May.

According to the parliament’s communication and public relations department, the Czech official will be accompanied by other senators, members of the Committee on the EU Affairs, of the Committee on education, culture, human rights and petitions, as well as of the Committee on foreign affairs, defence and security of the Czech Republic’s Senate.

President of the Czech Republic’s Senate Miloš Vystrčil will have a meeting with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. Subsequently, the two parliament speakers will hold a news briefing, scheduled to take place on 15 May at 12:00.

The agenda also includes a visit to the Centre for accommodation of Ukrainian refugees from the Carpineni commune, central Hancesti district.

Under the agenda, the Czech officials will lay flowers at the Monument to Czechoslovakian heroes from Chisinau and will go to the National History Museum, to participate in the inauguration of an exhibition titled, Fortresses and Castles in the Czech Republic.
