French Development Agency to provide Moldova with 41.2 million euros for reformation, modernization of forestry sector

Chisinau, 16 May /MOLDPRES/ - The French Development Agency will provide Moldova with support for the reformation and modernization of the forestry sector, in line with the regulations and the acquis of the European Union. The parliament, at a today’s meeting, ratified a loan facility Agreement.
Thus, on 2024-2025, Moldova will benefit from a loan worth 40 million euros, provided in two installments. Also, Moldova will receive a grant of 1.2 million euros. The loan is provided to Moldova for 15 years, with a grace period of five years.
The loan facility agreement between Moldova and the French Development Agency was signed in Paris on 7 March 2024.
