Moldovan Defence Ministry says more military technology units to move on national roads in next weeks

Chisinau, 20 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Defence Ministry today informed that, on May-July, more military technology units of National Army’s units would move from places of permanent deployment to temporary ones.

According to the Defence Ministry, the action takes place, given the process of renovation of National Army’s units and, in the context, the technology provided is scheduled to be detached. The military technology units will move on national roads from central and northern Moldova at night, in order not to disturb the road traffic.

The quoted source said that the movement of the military technology took place in line with the National Army’s activity plan for 2024 and has no connection with the security situation in the region.
