U.S. Secretary of State to come up with package of support for Moldova

Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/ - United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken will come up with a package of support for Moldova during his visit to Chisinau, scheduled for 29 May this year. Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi today made statements to this effect in press statements.

The official stressed that the visit to Moldova by Antony Blinken represented an approach of political support at an extremely high level and a proof of the close relations with the USA.

„The visit by Secretary of State Blinken is always expected in Moldova. It represents a strong signal of political and financial support, which will help Moldova and its citizens. Mr. Blinken will announce the content of the package provided. We rely much on the American support, which has always been quite generous,’’ Mihai Popsoi noted.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is to pay a visit to Moldova on 29 May. The agenda includes meetings with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, as well as others officials of Moldova.
