DOC Head of State signs decree granting Moldovan citizenship to members of Bi-2 band and families

Chisinau, 27 May /MOLDPRES/- Head of state Maia Sandu today signed a decree granting citizenship of the Republic of Moldova to some members of Bi-2 band and their families. Adrian Băluțel, head of the President's Office made the statement today.
Băluțel said that our country is open and welcoming to people who choose peace, who promote friendship and respect between peoples.
The presidential decree will enter into force upon the publication in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
On 23 April several members of Bi-2 band and their families applied for Moldovan citizenship.
