New regulation for issuing urban planning certificates, construction permits for public utility works of national interest

Chisinau, July 10 /MOLDPRES/- Government approved today a new regulation for issuing urban planning certificates for design and construction or demolition authorizations for public utility works of national interest. The document will ensure a clear, efficient and transparent procedure for the authorization of infrastructure projects, the government's communication department has reported.

Among the benefits of the new regulation are the facilitation of cooperation between public authorities and beneficiaries, reducing waiting time and bureaucracy through the use of the Automated Information System for Management and Issuance of Permit Documents. It will also ensure free access to all urban planning certificates and permits issued, which will be published on official websites.

According to the new regulation, the urban planning certificate and the construction or demolition authorization for public utility worka of national interest will be issued free of charge within 30 days.

The government decision approving the Regulation shall enter into force on 30 January 2025.
