97th anniversary of Chinese army

Chisinau, Aug 1 /MOLDPRES/- Chinese Embassy in Moldova organized a reception dedicated to the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese army, during which it was noted that "China and Moldova are good friends and partners, and the armies have always maintained good cooperation relations."

"China is a powerful but peace-loving country, which always pursues an independent foreign policy of peace and follows the path of peaceful development to ensure the building of a community with a common destiny for mankind," military attaché of the People's Republic of China to Moldova, Colonel Tian Wei said. The event was also attended by Defense Ministry State Secretary Sergiu Plop.

"Today, for the first time, the Chinese Embassy is organizing a reception on the Army Day. The Chinese army is a powerful but peace-loving army. China and its military have always been a constructive factor in maintaining regional and world peace. The Chinese army is determined to defend the peaceful life of the Chinese people, defend national sovereignty, security and development interests, protect territorial integrity," Colonel Tian Wei said.

Referring to the bilateral relations between China and the Republic of Moldova, the diplomat emphasized that the two countries have a very good friendly relationship. "China and Moldova are good friends and partners, and the armies of China and Moldova have always maintained good cooperation relations. China is willing to work with Moldova to expand and deepen the cooperation between the two armies," the cited source added.

On August 1, 2024, it will be 97 years since the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, and the Embassy of China in the Republic of Moldova is celebrating this event for the first time.
