Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/ - I have voted with Moldova. Today, more than ever, we must be united, preserve our peace, protect our vote, protect our independence. The candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the Moldovan president’s office, Maia Sandu, has made statements to this effect, after she exercised her right to vote at the runoff of the presidential elections.

„The thieves want to buy our vote; the thieves want to buy our country, but the people’s power is infinitely greater than any of their meanness. The power of Moldova is in each of you,’’ Maia Sandu said.

The candidate for the Moldovan president’s office called on the country’s citizens to unity, in order to preserve the peace and independence.

„I voted for Moldova; I am confident that our citizens will choose good for our country. They each time led the country forward and protected it from evil. Today, more than ever, we must be united, preserve our peace, protect our vote, protect our independence. Go to vote, with faith and hope. Be confident, Moldovans. God Helps Us!’’ Maia Sandu said.

The runoff of the presidential elections takes place in Moldova today. The current President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, backed by the Action and Solidarity Party, and the candidate of the Party of Socialists, Alexandr Stoianoglo, fight for the office of head of state.

The citizens will elect the country’s president for the next four years. The last presidential elections were held in Moldova in November 2020.
