Moldovan government facilitates modernization of national public roads

Chisinau, July 17 /MOLDPRES/- Increasing mobility through efficient, sustainable and safe transportation systems is one of the objectives of the National Development Strategy European Moldova 2030. Since the construction, rehabilitation, modernization and extension of public roads often go beyond the boundaries of state-owned land, they will be declared of public utility in order to speed up the works.
Thus, the construction, rehabilitation, modernization and extension of national public roads will be declared of public utility of national interest: M3 Chisinau-Comrat-Giurgiulești- Romanian border (bypasses of Vucănești and Cimislia), R14 R6-Codrul Nou-Soroca-Unguri-Ukrainian border (Soroca-Arionești), R33 Hincesti-Lăpușna-M1, R34 Hincesti- Leova-Cahul-Giurgiulești (Cantemir-Cahul), M5 Ukrainian border-Criva-Balti-Chișinău-Tiraspol-Ukrainian border (Criva-Balti), R7 R14 - Drochia - Costești - Romanian border and R14. 3 Access road to Cosăuți - Yampil bridge with border crossing point and related infrastructure.
Government will take the necessary measures for the expropriation of real estate located on the site of the works of public utility of national interest in order to ensure the construction of these roads on schedule. The payment of compensation for expropriation and the expenses for cadastral works and evaluation of real estate will be paid from the Road Fund.
