Moldovan foreign affairs minister to pay working visit to Ireland

Chisinau, 24 July /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi on 25-26 July will pay a working visit to Ireland, at an invitation by the Foreign Affairs Minister, Defence Minister of Ireland Micheál Martin.

Deputy PM Mihai Popsoi stressed that, during the visit, he would discus with Irish officials Moldova’s progress in the EU integration sector, the European reforms’ agenda, as well as the regional security.

„I will have occasion to meet the speaker of the House of Representatives of Ireland’s parliament, Seán Ó Fearghaíl, and to give a speech at the Institute of International and European Affairs (IIEA) – the main Irish think tank in the field of international affairs and public policies,’’ Mihai Popsoi stressed.

The visit takes place on the eve of the marking of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Moldova and Ireland.
