Chisinau, 24 May /MOLDPRES/ - The place of Moldova is in the European Union and its citizens are members of the European family. Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu today made statements to this effect at the Annual Meeting of the Romanian Diplomacy, held in Bucharest.
„In our immediate neighbourhood, I want to emphasize the full support for Moldova. The government I lead will continue backing the projects on interconnection of Moldova to the European area, especially as regards the infrastructure and energy. We adopted a solid package of support in last May. And the discussion which I has recently had with my counterpart Dorin Recean, reconfirmed me a reality: the place of Moldova is in the European Union. The European Union means, in fact, a unity,’’ the Romanian PM said.
