Moldovan prime minister on visit to Ceadir-Lunga

Chisinau, July 5 /MOLDPRES/- On a working visit to Ceadir-Lunga district, Prime Minister Dorin Recean yesterday visited two projects implemented under the European Village program, the government's communication department has reported.

A modern sports complex including a swimming pool is being built in Copceac village. The center will provide young people and local community with opportunities for recreational and sports activities.

A photovoltaic power plant has been installed, which will provide renewable energy to 8 public institutions - 6 kindergartens, museum and Art School.

"In Ceadir-Lunga district, we are modernizing and developing localities together with local public administration. The government is building and will continue to build all over the country to bring Europe to every locality," said Recean.

In Ceadir-Lunga district, 70 million lei have been invested for the implementation of 19 projects under the European Village program. The projects provide the inhabitants with better infrastructure, access to water and sewage, more schools, kindergartens and equipped and modernized grounds, as well as energy efficiency.
