Over a thousand participants expected at Moldova Business Week 2024

Chisinau, Sep 12 /MOLDPRES/- More than a thousand people will participate in Moldova Business Week 2024, the most important business event in our country, which aims to promote the investment profile of Moldova. The event, now in its tenth edition, will take place on September 16-20 in four cities - Chisinau, Balti, Edinet and Ungheni.
"At this anniversary edition, the format of the event is being expanded, so the activity will not be held only in Chisinau, but it will provide an opportunity to explore economic opportunities in four regions of the country - Chisinau, Balti, Edinet and Ungheni. More than a thousand participants are expected to attend the most important business event," government spokesman Daniel Voda said.
It will host 14 events dedicated to different strategic sectors of the national economy.
For five days, participants will discuss the investment climate in the Republic of Moldova, attracting development funds and establishing sustainable partnerships. New investment profiles will also be discussed, as well as the opportunities for cooperation that are opening up with the start of accession negotiations between Moldova and the EU.
The main topics to be addressed during Moldova Business Week will focus on information and communication technology, agri-food, automotive and electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical tourism, energy and infrastructure, wine tourism, real estate.
"In this year's edition, a special focus will be on promoting the country brand and the steps taken to promote future investments. The event will be attended by foreign investors, local and international entrepreneurs, businessmen, experts, analysts, representatives of state institutions, ministries, agencies, as well as members of diplomatic missions," concluded Daniel Voda.
Moldova Business Week 2024 is an important platform for Moldova to present its economic potential and progress to foreign investors, future projects and opportunities for local business. This in the context that with the integration into the European Union by 2030, Moldova will have access to several European markets with over 1 billion consumers.
