Chisinau, Sep 13 /MOLDPRES/- SMART Moldova program was published in the Official Journal today. It will ensure a connection between business and research/innovation. The document focuses on four priority areas: agriculture and agro-processing; information and communication technology; energy; biomedicine and biopharmaceuticals.
SMART Moldova program identifies priority issues where there is potential to connect research with business and the real economy. It aims to create and develop research and innovation infrastructure in the four areas of smart specialization, academia and the private sector, subsequently having the possibility to participate in calls for joint projects in areas of smart specialization, so-called technology transfer projects.
The program will be implemented with funds from the state budget, as well as by attracting funds from external development partners.
