Moldovan PM visits company from automotive industry from Glodeni

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today went to the branch of the Glodeni town of the Quality Hub company, which works in the automotive industry. The enterprise had 76 employees, along with those 200 workers from the Balti city, the government’s communication department has reported.
Along with the manager of the enterprise, Eduard Binzari, and the production chief, Mihail Mahu, the PM made a tour of the factory. Presently, wheels are made there for more well-known car brands - Dacia, Fiat, Volkswagen, Renault and Audi.
Prime Minister Dorin Recean said that, despite the regional context, the automotive industry from Moldova witnessed a dynamic recovery, due to the advantages of the free economic zones and the measures undertaken by the government to back the business environment. ‘’Moldova provides the internationally recognized companies a friendly environment for growth and production oriented to export,’’ Dorin Recean said.
Quality Hub is an international company with Romanian capital, with over 15 years of experience in assembling and verifying the quality of products in the automotive industry, electronics and micro-electronics.
Presently, the automotive industry has 19,000 employees. The sector continues to significantly contribute to the Gross Domestic Product - with 12.7 per cent, according to data from 2022.
