Moldovan Education Ministry says all salary obligations to be observed

Chisinau, 15 November /MOLDPRES/ - The Education and Research Ministry (MEC) today informed that the state budget would be approved at the next cabinet meeting, which provides for the allocation of additional financial resources for all local public authorities.    

According to MEC, over 277 million lei will be earmarked through the draft on the amendment of the budget law to the local public authorities of the level I and II. Over 52 million lei of this sum is allocated for the pre-school education institutions, art schools, sports schools, managed by the local public administration of the level I (mayoralties). At the same time, more than 224 million lei was earmarked for the primary education institutions, gymnasiums, lyceums, art schools, sports schools managed by local public authorities of the level II, of which 38.6 million lei to the Chisinau municipality.     

The Education Ministry says that all salary obligations would be observed; the rectification procedure is standard and takes place each year.
