The new measures will simplify the work of economic agents and will generate savings for the business environment, worth 11 million lei annually, with the removal of the administrative obstacles and cutting of the costs imposed by obsolete regulations.
According to the government’s communication department, the new provisions regard the extension of the validity of the Health and Safety licences from 1 to 3 years, no matter whether the products come from Moldova or are imported. Also, the need of the state registration of the food additives, enzymes and aromas will be excluded.
Also, the new stipulations see the exclusion of the limitings for the types of wholesale trade units and the introduction of the compulsoriness of indicating the origin country for the non-prepacked food products – this represents an action of support of the local producers. Another amendment due to facilitate the work of economic agents deals with the cancellation of the authorizations for the posters with dimensions smaller than 3 square metres and extending the validity of these authorizations for bigger posters.
The conditions for concluding labour contracts will be liberalized for the foreigners with right to work, without visas and the procedure of closing a business will become easier and quicker, by the use of online instruments. Moreover, in the case of gambling activities, clearer measures will be included for the blocking of unauthorized websites.
At the same time, the drug stores from villages will be licenced, no matter whether their activity is subsidized by the state or not.
„The initiatives are quite good and important for the business environment. On the next period, it is necessary that we focus on the way the environmental legislation is enforced, in order to cut the costs of the entrepreneurs from this sector. Also, along with the Finance Ministry, we must simplify the procedures of sale of our native agricultural products. We have a lot of people in village for whom we need to establish a clear mechanism of commercialization,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean said.
