Children from Moldova, Ukraine bring together to Circus Magic circus show

Chisinau, 4 December /MOLDPRES/ - Children from Moldova and Ukraine, who participated in the Circus Magic show on 2 December, enjoyed tough emotions and good temper. The event was organized by the National Congress of Ukrainians from Moldova (CNUM), in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Moldova for 600 children from socially vulnerable families and children with disabilities for the promotion of the social inclusion and cohesion.
The project was organized within the project, Each child is protected in Moldova. A number of 600 tickets with invitation were distributed to children from the Ukrainian House from Chisinau, as well as to lyceums, gymnasiums and centres of refugees from Chisinau. At the end of the show, the children received Christmas presents.
The show is part of the efforts undertaken by the National Congress of Ukrainians from Moldova for the integration of the Ukrainian children in the Moldovan society, in order to keep the feeling of the childhood without cares, despite the war in Ukraine.
„We are sure that, when children from different communities celebrate, laugh and learn together, they lay the foundations of friendship relations, which will unite, in the long run, entire countries. The children from Moldova and Ukraine today came to us. The friendship makes us stronger; it helps us share the happiness and support each other. As each child is unique and deserves a happy childhood,’’ CNUM president Dmitri Lekartsev said.
„Our goal is to create a space, in which each child, no matter the origin or abilities, feels appreciated and included. By joint experiences and cultural exchanges, we hope to consolidate the relations between the communities of Moldova and Ukraine,’’ UNICEF representative Cristina Stratulat said.
According to data by the Interior Ministry’s General Inspectorate for Migration, about 16,537 children refugees from Ukraine, who got status of temporary protection, are registered in Moldova.
