Moldovan president discussed access to financing for private sector with representatives of Transilvania Bank, Victoriabank's largest shareholder

Chisinau, Dec. 5 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu had a meeting with Ömer Tetik, Director General of Transilvania Bank, and Bogdan Pleșuvescu, Deputy Head and former Director General of Victoriabank, the presidential press service has reported.
Transilvania Bank, the largest banking group in Romania, holds the majority stake in Victoriabank, the second largest bank in Moldova.
During the talks, the president underlined the importance of Victoriabank in supporting small and medium-sized enterprises by providing access to finance, an essential factor for the growth and the creation of secure and well-paid jobs.
The official also reaffirmed the government's commitment to improving the investment climate and advancing reforms in the judiciary, which are necessary to guarantee a stable and predictable economic environment.
