Chisinau MPs to attend 15th meeting of EU-Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee

Chisinau, Dec. 9 /MOLDPRES/- MPs of the Action and Solidarity Party faction and the Communists and Socialists Bloc faction will attend the 15th meeting of the EU-Moldova Parliamentary Association Committee on 10 December. The meeting will take place in Brussels.

The delegation will be led by Moldova-EU CPA co-head Doina Gherman. Lawmakers Marina Morozova, Veronica Rosca, Petru Frunze, Tatiana Cunetchi and Grigore Novac will also participate.

According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, this is the first meeting of the Moldova-EU CPA since the beginning of the 10th term of the European Parliament.

The event's agenda includes discussions on the current situation of Moldova's accession process to the European Union and the bilateral screening, which is ongoing. They will also discuss the security and geopolitical situation in the Republic of Moldova, as well as the constitutional referendum and the presidential elections recently organized in the country.

At the end, the members will adopt a final declaration, which will include recommendations.

EU-Moldova CPA is the parliamentary forum of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement. It is composed of members appointed by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the European Parliament, who meet twice a year, alternately in Chisinau and Brussels.
