Strengthening cooperation between Moldova, North Carolina discussed in Raleigh

Chisinau, Dec. 10. /MOLDPRES/- Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi, together with Speaker Igor Grosu met with North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper in Raleigh (USA). The officials discussed strengthening cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and North Carolina.

The Moldovan diplomat thanked the governor for the contribution to strengthening the privileged partnership between the Republic of Moldova and North Carolina during two terms as governor.

Roy Cooper said he opts for strengthening the relations between North Carolina and the Republic of Moldova.

"A cooperation that brings important benefits to both sides", said the American official.

At the end of the meeting, Popșoi invited the governor to visit the Republic of Moldova to see the significant impact that this partnership has had on the development of our country, in the context of 25 years of cooperation.
