Wizz Air launches three new routes from Chisinau International Airport to European destinations

Chisinau, Dec. 16. /MOLDPRES/- The low-cost airline Wizz Air announced today the launch of three new routes from Chisinau International Airport to European destinations. Thus, from next summer passengers will be able to travel directly to Larnaca (Cyprus), Barcelona (Spain) and Wroclaw (Poland).
Andras Rado, head of communications and government affairs of Wizz Air airline, told a press conference today that the operational base in Chisinau will be supplemented with another aircraft, which will start operations from July 2025.
Acting administrator of Chisinau International Airport Sergiu Spoială said that the expansion of WizzAir's operations will bring multiple benefits.
The company is currently operating 16 routes to eight countries, offering 500 thousand passenger seats. Andras Rado said that from summer 2025, Wizz Air will operate 21 flights to destinations in 12 countries.
