Central Moldova district hospital endowed with lift dedicated to carrying patients on stretchers

Chisinau, 23 December /MOLDPRES/ - The patients who benefit from treatment at the Ialoveni district hospital will benefit from better conditions. A lift dedicated to the carrying of patients on stretchers will be set at the institution.  

According to the National Health Insurances Company, the cost of the lift exceeded 2 million 225,000 lei. The lift will help improve the accessibility and create the best conditions for the treatment of patients, reducing the risks related to their physical transportation on stairs, especially when they are immobilized or in serious condition.   

About 5,200 patients are annually treated at the Ialoveni district hospital and at the  out-patient’s clinic medical services are monthly provided during 25,000 visits, The institution annually serves about 68,000 people.
