Radiology room of central Moldova district hospital renovated

Chisinau, 24 December /MOLDPRES/ - The radiology room of the Ialoveni District Hospital has been capitally renovated and endowed with an advanced apparatus of digital radiography and tomosynthesis.

Attending the inauguration, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco said that the apparatus allowed the medical institution switching to another level of diagnosing, from the simplest to the most complicated pathologies. Thus, with the help of this equipment, physicians will be able to establish accurate diagnoses.

The radiology apparatus and the expenses for the repair and setting amounted to about 5.6 million lei – money paid from the Health Ministry’s funds.

At the same time, a lift with stretcher, purchased from the funds of the National Health Insurances Company, was inaugurated at the Ialoveni-based medical institution.

About 68,000 people are annually treated at the Ialoveni District Hospital.
