Chisinau, March 29 /MOLDPRES/- Starting from April 5, the state of emergency in our country could be extended for another 60 days. A decision to this effect was approved at today's cabinet meeting at the proposal of the Commission for Emergency Situations. The document is to be presented to the Legislature for adoption, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The need to extend the state of emergency is argued by the continuation of the Russian Federation's war of aggression against Ukraine, which also has an impact on our country.
The state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova was established on February 24, 2022, with the outbreak of the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
