Chisinau, Nov. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean announced today that he will come up with proposals for changes in policies and government in the next 10 days.
"Both the citizens who voted for President Sandu in the presidential election and those who voted for her counter-candidate have said very clearly that we need to make certain changes in policies, government. In the next ten days I will come up with these proposals for changes," he said.
Recean thanked citizens who participated in the presidential elections. "I thank all those who participated in the vote. It was an extraordinary mobilization. I thank those who are in the Republic of Moldova and those who still live abroad, our Moldovans everywhere, both at home and abroad, for mobilizing so well to vote. I want to thank the Moldovans still living abroad for mobilizing. This means that they, at least some of them, are waiting to return home and this is very important. Even if there are now certain attempts to divide us into those who live here and those who live abroad, we are all one people, we are all one country.
To those who voted for Stoianoglo, I thank them for having drawn the Government's attention to the problems and needs they have," he said.
On 3 November, the runoff election took place in the Republic of Moldova and Maia Sandu won her second term as head of state.
