Alexandr Stoianoglo thanks voters, says Moldova speaks through its people today

Chisinau, 3 November /MOLDPRES/ - The candidate of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) for the Moldovan president’s office, Alexandr Stoianoglo, has thanked the voters after the polling stations closed on the territory of Moldova.
„Dear fellow countrymen, supporters and friends! Today, Moldova spoke through you, its people. Your vote removed the borders between city and village, north and south, East and West and your massive presence at the vote is a proof that Moldova is not only a point on map with simple spectators, but a people responsible and conscious of its future,’’ Alexandre Stoianoglo said.
The candidate for the position of Moldovan president thanked the voters, noting that each vote matters, stressing that the voters’ counting started. ‘’I thank you from the bottom of my heart for election, for energy, for involvement and confidence which you have invested in this democratic process. Each voter who entered the voting booth wrote a chapter in the destiny of this republic. So, the counting of the votes starts, the moment of the truth, in which each vote gains weight and outline and defines our further direction. Thank you!’’ Stoianoglo said.
The runoff presidential elections are held in Moldova on 3 November. The current President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, backed by the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) and the candidate of the Party of Socialists (PSRM), Alexandr Stoianoglo, fight for the office of head of state.
