Moldovan president to participate in fifth edition of summit of European Political Community, held in Budapest

Chisinau, 6 November /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu on 7 November will participate in the summit of the European Political Community (EPC Summit), held in Budapest, Hungary, the presidential press service has reported.
The head of state will meet European leaders, heads of state and government, in order to discuss the economic development of Moldova, the regional peace and security and the European integration process.
The European Political Community was created at an initiative by French President Emanuel Macron and represents a platform of political dialogue on peace and security on the continent, as well as on the cooperation between the EU states and the ones from outside the EU area.
The inaugural EPC summit took place in Prague in October 2022 and the second issue was hosted by Moldova in June 2023.
