Moldovan PM has farewell meeting with Ambassador of Ukraine

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today met Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova Marko Shevchenko, who ends his diplomatic mission in the country, the government’s communication department has reported.

The PM appreciated the relation of continuous friendship and cooperation between the two countries. He noted that, despite the crises triggered by Russia’s brutal war against the neighbour country, Moldova and Ukraine had joined their efforts, in order to ensure the security of the citizens and protect the common values.

„We support the friendly Ukrainian nation in its fight for freedom and we will advance together, as good neighbours, on the path of integration into the European Union, proving that the people of both countries want to live in a space of European peace, freedom and solidarity,’’ Prime Minister Dorin Recean added.
